About Yoga of Now TTC

The New Humanity School, Yoga of Now Teacher Training Course (200Hr) invokes the living, most timely teachings of the traditional scriptures: YOGA as UNION in the NOW is being transmitted here with the help of two fully realised teachers. The modular structure of the program is specifically constructed to provide effective tools for the raising of one’s consciousness.  This integrative course focuses on Kriya, Pranayama, Asana, different meditation practices as well as Satsang or “Meeting in Truth.” Participants gain expertise in transforming, purifying and healing the human energy system by paying specific attention to the nervous system in order to train the body-mind mechanism to anchor more light frequency.

Kriya - Purification

The New Humanity School, Yoga of Now TTC focuses on the effective practices of Kriya Yoga, for they proved to be the most potent ancient tools that serve to speed up the spiritual evolution of the practitioner towards Self-Realisation. The Sanskrit word ‘kriya’ means actions taken specifically for purification purposes. Kriya Yoga includes a series of kriyas or techniques that work directly with the vital life force (Prana), igniting the Spiritual Sun in the body. The practice is based on the pranic stimulation of the spine with the upward and downward flow of the pranic current. Thus, pranic breathing, the practice of specific postures and the visualization of light help to purify, evolve and transform the nervous system which then enables us to hold a higher consciousness and energy. Through pranic healing an integration of the physical, emotional and mental bodies takes place.

Kriya Yoga activates the power of the Divine Spirit manifested in creation. It is the active process of uniting the individual Soul with the Supreme Self.

Pranayama - Vital Breathe

Because the school’s prerogative is to assist people in raising their consciousness in order to ultimately be able to teach others the effective practices covered in the curriculum, the Yoga of Now TTC focuses on a select number of Pranayama techniques in conjuncture with the Kriya techniques. 

Pranayama is the science of breath. The practitioner of Pranayama masters the science of breath and through the regulation and control of the breath he or she controls the mind and stills its perpetual movement. This control is over all the functions of breathing, namely: inhalation, exhalation and retention. The breath is our life. It is very important to know this. The practice of pranayama prepares the mind for Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses). Prana in the body of the individual is part of the cosmic breath. Through the practice of Pranayama an attempt is made to harmonise the individual breath with the cosmic breath.

Asana - Posture

During the one month Yoga of Now TTC, participants are introduced to the balanced sequencing of two different types of Asana practices: one is based on the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow sequence and the other is a potent, Kriya based sequencing where the main focus is on energy work.

Asana practice is the third limb of yoga. The practice of physical postures brings health and lightness of limb, agility, balance, endurance and great vitality. The strategic practice of Asana helps reduce fatigue and soothes the nervous system. The real importance of the postures lies in the way they train and discipline the mind. The practice of asana heightens awareness and prepares for one-pointedness which is essential for Dharana (concentration) where concentration is brought to a vanishing point. According to the Yogic sciences, the body is not an impediment but the instrument of spiritual attainment.


Is an integral part of the New Humanity School, Yoga of Now TTC. The participants are introduced to a series of specific guided meditation techniques suitable for the different Levels of Consciousness. With the help of the Foundation’s “Program of Transformation,” the practitioner is trained to choose and apply the appropriate meditation technique corresponding to one’s current Level of Consciousness. 

Energy System

The New Humanity School, Yoga of Now TTC training explores the human energy system through the lens of the seven chakras, the three major nadis or subtle energy channels and the Kundalini Shakti energy. Understanding this mind-body energy system is essential for becoming the most vibrant, healthy, and radiant version of yourself. 

Chakras are powerful electrical and magnetic fields. Energy flows from the Universal Energy Field through the chakras into the energy systems within our bodies, including the Nadis or subtle energy channels. These centers are linked together with all the other energy systems in the body and the various layers of the aura.

Since everything in the mind-body energy system is moving, it’s essential that your seven main chakras stay open, aligned and fluid. The key to unblock, move and transform your energy so that you can reach your highest mental, physical and spiritual potential is simple: awareness.

In yoga, the raw feminine force (Shakti) and cosmic energy (Shiva) are known to be within everyone. They are represented by a coiled serpent lying dormant at the base of the spine. Through a series of exercises involving posture, meditation and breathing, a practitioner can force this energy up through the body to the top of the head. This brings about a sensation of bliss, as the ordinary self is dissolved into its eternal essence, Atman.
