Yin Yoga is a soft slow-paced healing practice focused on realigning and stretching the connective tissues of the body. Yin Yoga helps you relax both physically and mentally by relieving the tensions in your muscles from your daily activities and also prevents injuries. It teaches us to slow down and can be quite liberating. It can also be effective in training our minds for meditation, particularly for beginners.
When you are practicing this style of yoga, your parasympathetic nervous system gets activated, and you can even feel more relaxed.
About Yoga Teacher
Beatrice - Certified Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation teacher (YACEP)
Originally from Brussels (Belgium), and after many years in Paris and Hong Kong, I landed in 2020 on the beautiful island of Gozo, a place that I now call home. During my years in Hong Kong, where I worked for a cinema tech company, I started my healing and spiritual journey. Yoga soon became a daily practice when I witnessed the amazing benefits for the body, mind, and soul and how it supported me when I had to deal with extremely stressful events in both my professional and personal life. After 12 years of practicing different styles of yoga as a student, I realized it was time to offer my skills and practices as a teacher. I felt more attracted to slow-paced healing practices such as Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation since I love how they can help people feel better and deal with their physical, mental, and emotional challenges in their everyday life.

Belly dance has roots in the ancient ceremonial dance of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as India. It is a fun and grounded way to connect with our femininity, sensuality, creativity, and power. It honors the feminine body - all shapes and ages are welcome - and its sensuality. The movements of the Egyptian Belly Dance are controlled while remaining fluid and gentle and engage small muscles, primarily in the pelvis and belly area. Correct belly dance practice relieves back pain, improves posture, shapes the hips and abdomen, increases flexibility, coordination, and blood circulation, and lubricates the joints. More than just exercise, belly dance is an expression of the heart - and connection to Earth.
In each class, we will focus on correct technique, learn fundamental movements, and gradually move to drill small combinations and/or improvisations—what to wear: comfortable, preferably tight-fitting clothes like yoga pants and a top. Belts are fun and help drill isolation, but not a must.

About The Teacher
Inga started studying belly dance in Oslo, Norway, in 2003 and fell in love with its heart-opening flow and the way it allowed her to express her own sensuality and feminine grace. She has since studied with several teachers in the US and the Middle East including Tamalyn Dallal and Tina Girsch, as well as taken belly dance and whirling classes with Fawzia Al Rawi.
Inga works as an intuitive healer and continues to incorporate belly dance into her routine as a practice of embodiment and self-awareness. She teaches the Raqs Sharki style, or Egyptian belly dance, which is focused on small controlled movements and rhythm awareness.
All levels are welcome. This is a technique-focused class.

Mysore-style yoga classes are traditionally practiced early in the morning, as per Jois’ personal recommendation for the best time of day to practice yoga. They may be interspersed with led yoga classes, especially for beginners. Generally, the sequence followed by yogis is one of the Ashtanga series of yoga postures. However, other styles of yoga may also use Mysore-style sessions for yogis to practice different sequences or types of yoga. In a Mysore class, the teacher will give instructions, directions, and physical assistance, but this is one-to-one rather than the whole group. The onus is on the yogi to learn the sequence of postures for themselves and to combine the asanas with movement and vinyasas between the postures, which are all coordinated with the breath.

About Yoga Teacher
Mila began her dance with yoga back in Poland in the 1980s, where she was a member of an international physical theatre company, “Blik.” She has toured the world, communicating emotions and ideas through movement and mime. She finally settled in the UK in 1988, where she began teaching drama in theatres and colleges. Yoga was part of her daily practice in preparation for highly physical performances. During her teaching career, Mila has incorporated her yoga knowledge into the drama curriculum. However, her dedication to yoga developed once she found Ashtanga. After many years of training at Camyoga in Cambridge under the teaching of Emma Lindsey, Mila decided to go to India and train as an Ashtanga teacher. On return from India, Mila deepened her practice and attended numerous workshops and classes. She trained under established practitioners like Scott Johnson, Philippa Asher, and Gregor Maehle. Mila now lives in Gozo and continues to teach and practice yoga.”
Slow Flow is a meditative form of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga that helps you find space between poses that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. Slow-flow yoga is deeply relaxing and easier for beginners to follow. It also helps you connect more deeply with your body, breath, and inner journey. In this ultra-fast world, we need slow-flow yoga to rebalance and relax. Slow flow is all about slowing down and concentrating on your mind-body connection. It helps you improve mindfulness, breathwork, flexibility, balance, and strength. Let’s dig deeper into the soul of slow-flow yoga.

Lucid Breath with Stella & Kilian
Sundays from 17:00-19:00
WhatsApp at +49 15775761020
Join us on the journey of Lucid Breath - a dynamic trance-inducing technique to discover within yourself what waits to be felt and seen.
This is what will expect you: we will guide you through a dynamic trance-breath session that initiates personal and collective processes of change and transformation. Through conscious and full breathing, an expanded state of consciousness can be achieved. This way, you may shift into an altered state of mind. This can be appealing if you feel stuck and unable to proceed with challenges in life or if you feel the urge to liberate yourself from whatever might be holding you back from living a fulfilling life. Often a feeling of a deeper understanding of yourself can happen through some form of catharsis. The process itself uses very simple means: it combines accelerated breathing with evocative music in a special set and setting. With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter a non-ordinary state of consciousness. The underlying tenet of our sessions is that each person has an inner radar that can determine the most important experience at a given moment but that we cannot be aware of this experience until it happens.
No prior experience in breathwork is needed to attend; every person is and should feel welcome!

The sessions cost 16€. This price enables us to give you the best experience possible. It is important to us that the sessions are long enough that a deep process can actually happen and that there will always be us two guiding and supporting you.
What to bring:
-
water bottle
-
loose clothing that allows free breathing
-
a blanket to cover yourself (the studio has heating, we will explain to you why you might still need it)
-
avoid eating anything heavy 1 hour before

About The Teachers
Stella is a prospective Gestalt psychotherapist and social philosopher
who is driven by the question of who we would be as human beings if we could take off all the layers that cover us in modern western society. Throughout the journey of becoming a breath therapist at a Berlin-based institute, she found out that breath can be a powerful tool to get closer to the answer.
Kilian's career is centered around many different aspects of us humans.
His curiosity for the human body made him become a doctor. His interest in personal development through creative methods led him to the field of theatre and dance education. He is now focussing on a deeper understanding of the human psyche by becoming a Gestalt psychotherapist. The work with the breath as a transformational tool allows him to combine his skills and knowledge.
